Partnership to help cities, counties and special districts with integrated utility billing
Best Software welcomes a new addition to our Partner family – Continental Utility Solutions (CUSI). CUSI develops and implements total technology solutions for managing the operations of utilities. This partnership will provide new options and efficiencies for current MIP Fund Accounting and Government Series Customers that manage water, sewage, gas, electric, and waste.
CUSI currently offers an interface-level link between its two utility billing products and MIP Fund Accounting and Government Series. In this new expanded partnership, CUSI will become a member of the MIP Fund Accounting Software Integrator Program (SIP), an official training and certification program allowing business partners to be recognized as highly proficient developers for the MIP Fund Accounting product line. CUSI will tighten the integration between Best Software’s products and CUSI’s Continental Billing System for Windows (CBSW) and Utility Management System.net (UMS.Net), providing a complete customer financial and customer information management solution for local governments and special districts. Additionally, as part of the partnership, CUSI will add the MIP Government Series products to its current offerings.
Today over 700 water, sewer, gas, electric and waste management companies use CUSI’s applications for their Utility Billing, Accounting, and Operational needs. For more information on CUSI, please visit their website at www.cusi.com.
